We recently completed a large renovation project Verdun, Montreal that we are incredibly proud of. The project had a tremendous effect on the entire home esthetically, comfort-wise as well as on the home’s resale value.

The goal of this project was to modernize the home and give it a much-needed facelift. In addition to modernizing the look of the home, we also wanted to make it more functional for the homeowners. Nearly the entire living space has been modified to maximize usage and better work the space to get more usable areas.
We also wanted to take advantage of the renovation situation, and upgrade much of the plumbing and electrical of the home at the same time.

We installed new cabinets, new tile floors, a beautiful backsplash as well as new plumbing fixtures. A new stainless steel hod was installed over the stove, and properly vented outside. The lighting was upgraded to LED pot lights, to maximize lighting as well as electrical efficiency.

All new plumbing and electrical
As a licensed general contractor, the team at Apex Reno can manage all aspects of a renovation project, no matter the size. For this project we upgraded the plumbing and electrical throughout the home while the walls were open and everything was accessible. These hidden aspects are often overlooked by many contractors as it is an easy way to save on costs and put out a lower quote. As the saying goes, out of sight out of mind, and plumbing and electrical almost always fits this bill.
Upgrading the plumbing and electrical during a complete remodel, is a no-brainer, and will be much less expensive than having to eventually do it when a problem happens at a later date. Imagine having to rip out your brand new kitchen because an old leaky pipe burst in a year or two? Unfortunately this happens due to many factors including laziness ,inexperience on the part of the contractor doing the work or a desire from the client to save on costs.
Some of the electrical improvements we completed included upgrading the electrical panel, upgrading the electrical heating throughout the house, installation of split mini air-conditioners and even an electrical heated wire in the drains on the roof to maximize draining efficiency and avoid ice buildup.
